Hey all!
I share in a love for the world of Soul Reaver alongside many others,
so for this bit of personal work, I took the opportunity to explore some of UE5's newer features to reimagine this classic environment from Soul Reaver 2, The Sarafan Stronghold.
I had a great time recreating the Soul Reaver blade and giving it a home in this scene, taking the opportunity to work on both my compositional and lighting skills.
Looking to further push myself as an artist. I created this scene from scratch utilising Maya for modelling and UV's, Zbrush for sculpting my high poly assets, both Substance Designer and Painter for the texturing of these assets, and I also utilised Photoshop to create some custom alphas for brushes.
I then took advantage of UE5's Nanite and Lumen features to help bring this scene to life!
